If this was the right project in the right location, don't you think that the City of Temecula, the Temecula Valley Chamber and the Pechanga Indians would show their support? WRONG PROJECT ~ WRONG LOCATION!
The Press-Enterprise agrees...the proposed Liberty Quarry is in the WRONG LOCATION.
who we are...
We are a group of concerned citizens and homeowners in Rainbow, Fallbrook and Southwest Riverside
County dedicated to the preservation of the beautiful, pristine hills and open
space in the Temecula, Murrieta and Rainbow area.
Our efforts are
currently focused on preventing the approval of a huge open-pit mine on the
Temecula border which would destroy the Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve
directly adjacent to the proposed quarry site, as well as drastically lower our clean air quality,
decrease our home values and irreparably harm our booming tourist industry.
Visiting our site for the first time? Check out our Quarry Facts section for a quick overview of why we are so vehemently opposed to the proposed Liberty Quarry.
